A videocast can be used like a blog only in the form of a video. A videocast is a fun way of creating online content for your followers. It can be a video of yourself, an interview you did of someone, or it can be an animation. For the videocast I have below I explored the different forms of online communication and content. The research I did for this videocast is from my experiences in a college course on social media. We learned about a variety of different methods of communication and different kinds of online content. Now that I know more about these forms of communication and content I can begin to implement them in the promotion of my artwork. One of the challenges I faced while creating this videocast would be when I had to organize the scenes together in a way that made sense. A storyboard would be especially helpful when creating a videocast. When creating this videocast I learned about video and audio editing, I learned how to create a video, and how to conect audio and video together without having to use expensive or complicated software. Working on this videocast was a good refresher for the past assignments I had done in this course. I also learned the bases to videocasting which is a kind of content on most social media platforms.
